The Generation Muslim Experience:

The Generation Muslim Conference is just DAYS away! Edmonton’s most anticipated conference is back! Your chance to reclaim your deen, reignite your emaan and boost your confidence in a growing Islamophobic world!
On Saturday July 21st, get ready to become inspired by soul-touching lectures as well as interactive and engaging sessions by world-renowned speakers for the greater Muslim community!
Our guest line up features Br. Danial Haqiqatjou aka The Muslim Skeptic, Dr. Reda Bedeir, Sh. Abdurrahmann Murad, Sh. Abdulbary Yahya and Dr. Syed Ibn Iqbal.
Generation Muslim is the manifestation of a vision to protect and strengthen the Islamic identity of Muslims living in North America, empower families to connect with their Deen together and in turn inspire our community with a mere glimpse of what we can achieve when we are united with one another.
This is not a youth conference but instead invites the greater Muslim Community including parents, families, professionals and leaders.
But that’s not it, on Sunday July 22nd, your taste buds will be satisfied with a delicious and mouthwatering BBQ at the first ever Community Town Hall Session and BBQ! Come prepared to benefit from an interactive Q&A session and the opportunity to interact with the GenM speakers as they tackle real issues effecting Canadian Muslims.
The conference is only days away. What are you waiting for?

Volunteer with us!

Every year, Generation Muslim looks for motivated, hard working, sincere, and dedicated community members to join the GenM team!

Our goal at NYMiNK is to support volunteers to enhance their skills, develop strong relationships with their fellow Muslims in the community, and to ultimately become stronger Muslims who are close to their deen as a result of their volunteering experience. As part of our commitment to produce a highly skilled team, the GenM volunteers go through an enriching and thorough training program prior to the conference. This training not only adequately prepares volunteers for the conference, it allows them to gain skills that are applicable in many professional and educational settings.

About NYM Ink

Visit our website for more info!
The Nation of Young Muslims organization was established in 2006 by a group of western Canadian Muslim youth who dared to challenge the status quo of pop culture and offer the Muslim youth of today a better alternative. NYM strives to provide those youth living in the west a lifestyle that is not only attractive and tailored to their time and place, but also a way of life they can be proud of – a way of life whose foundations are firmly based on the teachings of the Qur’an and the life of our beloved Prophet (PBUH). This holistic approach is no small undertaking and, as part of our mandate, we aim to work with and empower local organizations and communities as we continue to move forth with new creative and innovative NYM initiatives.
